Create the best canal cruise experience in Amsterdam alongside our skilled Skippers. As a Host at Starboard Boats, you’ll be the welcoming face of our company, greeting guests as they step aboard our beautiful open sloops for their journey through the city’s historic waterways.
Your role combines hospitality, storytelling, and service as you introduce visitors to the magic of Amsterdam from a unique perspective. While cruising the canals, you’ll serve delicious drinks while sharing engaging stories about Amsterdam’s fascinating past and vibrant present. Working in tandem with our Skipper, you’ll point out landmarks, reveal hidden gems, make suer the boat is in top condition, and answer questions, ensuring our guests leave with wonderful memories of their time on the water.

Tasks
- Preparing and organising the boat before each cruise
- Welcoming guests and creating a friendly atmosphere
- Sharing stories about Amsterdam during the cruise
- Serving drinks and handling payments
- Maintaining cleanliness and order on board throughout the day
- Supporting smooth operations

- Available at least 2-3 days a week (including 1 weekend day)
- Advanced English
- 18 +
- Outgoing personality
- Available in evenings, high season and holidays
- Experience in hospitality (beneficial)
