Starboard
Founded in 2018, Starboard Boats has become a beloved presence on Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. We specialize in private and shared cruises that showcase the city’s stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture. With our fleet of 11 well-maintained boats, we create memorable experiences for both tourists and locals.
Our Captains and Hosts are the heart of these experiences, but our Runners make sure the magic actually happens. We’re looking for energetic and dedicated Runners to join our international team and ensure our daily operations run smoothly!
Tasks
- Stocking our boats:Â Ensuring all boats are properly loaded with drinks, ice, and supplies before they depart.
- On-the-move logistics:Â Cruising through the city to deliver materials and replenish items like ice
- Catering prep:Â Preparing and delivering simple food options, including crew meals
- Team support:Â Supporting your colleagues with other quick logistical and operational tasks around the office and the docks.
- Please note:Â This is a physically demanding role. You will lift crates and stay active throughout your shift, so you must feel comfortable being on your feet and cycling through Amsterdam in all weather conditions.
Profile
- We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team who share our passion for Amsterdam and want to help guests discover the city.
- You are energetic, helpful, and thrive in an international environment.
- You are available to work part time and mainly during weekends, which is the basis of this role.
- You speak English and are skillful at navigating the city on a bike.
- No experience needed! We welcome a diverse lot and will teach you everything you need to know.
