Job description:

As a host you work on canal cruises sharing stories about Amsterdam, checking guests in, help with serving drinks and most importantly; making sure that our guests have the time of their lives!

What does your day look like:

You start off your shift at our departure point in the centre of Amsterdam, together with the skipper you make sure that the boat looks presentable and start boarding our passengers on the boat. You start off the tour by telling stories and making sure that everyone has a drink in their hands.

• Kick-off your day at our departure point in the centre of Amsterdam.
• Work closely with the skipper to ensure is inviting and ready for our guests.
• Welcome passengers aboard with a warm smile and a refreshing beverage.
• Entertain guests with captivating stories about Amsterdam’s past & present.

• Have exceptional communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Enjoy interacting with people and love cracking jokes.
• Are able to multitask and handle the dynamic environment of a moving cruise.
• Have a passion for Amsterdam and are eager to share it with others.
• Are available to work at least one weekend day.
• Have cooperative skills.
